Reproducible on the latest Beta (BuildID: 20130612084701): Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:22.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/22.0 Reproducible on the latest Aurora (BuildID: 20130612004016): Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:23.0) Gecko/20130612 Firefox/23.0 Reproducible on the latest Nightly (BuildID: 20130612031138): Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:24.0) Gecko/20130612 Firefox/24.0 Steps to reproduce: 1. Launch Firefox 22 beta 5. 2. In the Tools Menu select Web Developer -> Inspector 3. Hold the left edge of "Rules" box. 4. Drag with the mouse all over to the left. Expected results: Expanding the Rules box, everything is overlapped. Actual results: Some buttons appear in the back of the stretched Rules box. Notes: 1. Screencast attached showing the issue: http://goo.gl/GthCN 2. This issue is a regression. This regression is actually the nightly where Inspector was redesigned and Style button disappeared so this issue reproduced from get-go. Last good nightly: 2012-11-30 First bad nightly: 2012-12-01 http://hg.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/pushloghtml?fromchange=abb39d1df815&tochange=d2fbc67f69f5
Firefox 20 regression, and doesn't seem critical. Please let us know if that isn't the case. Would take a low risk uplift though.
Did you mean "now" rather than "not" in the summary?
I think that if you extend the Rules box it should overlap everything from behind or there should be a limit to which the box can be stretched.
