The below changeset removed testVersion.cpp, but builds on all platforms burned still looking for it. Clobbering fixed it.

gps, does this sound familiar at all? This seems like a pretty important dependency problem in moz.build -> Makefile translation or dependency calculations.

We detected configuration change (due to presence of "Reticulating splines" message, so I don't think this is a problem with moz.build or Makefile translation. There have been a rash of issues around removed source files recently. I suspect the old .cpp or .o file is showing up in a dependency list somewhere and we don't have an empty rule to cause make not to spaz out when the source file has disappeared.
