STR:
* have several apps running
* long press on "home" to display the task switcher
* try to close apps by tapping the top left cross (*not* by sliding the card)

Expected:
* we can close the apps this way

Actual:
* sometimes it doesn't work. To make it work, sometimes it's enough to just slide forward/backward, but sometimes it's not.

qawanted to try to find a 100% reproducible STR, and to know if it happens on 1.1.
I can repro this on an Unagi using 1.1 build 20130612070210.
I had three apps open, was able to close two using the x, but the last app (Settings) could not be closed with the x no matter what I did. I needed to swipe up to close.
this issue still reproduces on Unagi updated to 20130614070213

my STR:
- having several apps running longpress the home key
- slide cards forward/backward
- close any of the apps by tapping "x"
- close any of the apps by sliding up the card
=> at some point user wont be able to

Triage - blocking per regression statement and also seems to be an annoying symptom when hit.

Sorry, is there a rationale for not blocking after all here ?

Good point. I'm sending into triage then.
blocking-b2g: - → leo?
We'll leave this leo+ unless there's actually reason to not block.

Julien asked to me for this bug if it is related to other one, but although they are not related, my curiosity didn't allow me not to take a look a this problem. The patch is very easy, thanks
Thanks ! Is it ready to review ?
Assignee: ladamski → crdlc
yes, it is ready but I don't know who could do this¿?¿?

Patch to solve the problem

It's a quick patch that solves the issue, but I would think it's better if there were no simulation events.
