Unagi with Gaia 22.214.171.124-prerelease 20130614070213 If a contact's name contains non-ascii characters, tapping it in addressbook will bring up the contact card with an empty header. Ascii-only names are shown.
Created attachment 765716 [details] screenshot I was not able to reproduce this issue either on latest 6/20 build or on 6/14 (as per comment 0) - contact's name that contains non-ASCII characters appears in the header - see the screenshot STR: 1. open Contacts app 2. create a new contact with the name that contains non-ASCII characters (for example - Élise Lefèvre) 3. tap the contact in the contact list 4. verify contact's name appears in the header Reporter, if you have different STR to reproduce this bug please provide. Created attachment 766262 [details] addresscard 'Jörg Schulze' The issue can only be observed if the contact has been imported (from a .vcf file exported by Android's addressbook). Copy this .vcf file to the SD card and then go into Contacts > Settings > Import from SD card. Now you should have a contact 'Jörg Schulze' in the contacts list. Tap on it to get the contact's details shown with an empty header.
I am able to see Jörg Schulwe on master.
