FirefoxOS needs language negotiation similar to the Firefox desktop versions:

***This bug will be used as a tracking bug for all the other bugs that need to be resolved in other to obtain this.***

As in Firefox desktop, we need to have a Preferences > Content > Language option. We should be able to look at this language-content preference, and to get to the back-end set of preferences. We should also create appropriate test cases f

As Tony (CCed) has mentioned, for example in Catalan, the content of mozilla.com will not appear translated if you cannot enable this option. Same thing goes for google search results.

In order to stay in line with our other Mozilla products and our philosophy, this content language tuning should be provided as an advanced option in FirefoxOS
axel has suggested that we need as a possible partial solution so solve this. more dependences need to be added here as we figure this out.

Bug 881510 - "Accept-Language header customization UI for Android" has more background on why this is needed in general, and it is tracking the solution for Firefox on Android; but the fix there should be a lot easier due to the already existing separation in the code between Browser UI Language and Web Page Content Language.
