Steps to reproduce:
Sent a mail to wife's separate account.
Actual results:
Mail received in wife's account but no indication on my account ["Sent Folder"] that the message had been sent. No indication of a message being sent on ISP web server either. ISP technicians have spent upwards of 2 hours trying to sort out the problem to no avail.
Expected results:
Mail message should have automatically been placed in the "Sent" folder to indicate that it had actually been sent.

Doesn't sound like a Thunderbird problem.
