User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:12.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/12.0 (Beta/Release) Build ID: 20120420145725 Steps to reproduce: Report bugs on mozilla Actual results: The "importance" dropdown menu has options called "P1", "P2", ... "P5". How is one supposed to know whether P1 is more urgent than P5 or viceversa? Expected results: This is an ages-old issue and I've read somewhere it has already been fixed in Bugzilla. So please update bugzilla.mozilla.org's installation of bugzilla to get this fix.
unfortunately we can't change the values in this field without breaking a lot of existing code/queries. the change which upstream bugzilla made was to the _default_ values for new installations. the help for the priority field <https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/page.cgi?id=fields.html#priority> has: > This field describes the importance and order in which a bug should be fixed compared > to other bugs. This field is utilized by the programmers/engineers to prioritize their > work to be done where P1 is considered the highest and P5 is the lowest.
