A FxOS user coming to https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/ has Firefox. For this user we will provide a link to the consumer site and a translated tagline from this site.

- in place of download button provide messaging and link(s) for this user

- provide link to Partners site (http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/partners/) until consumer site is available

This is no loner working as confirmed in duplicate bug 910404. Please check this out in the Firefox OS simulator to confirm for yourself.

This is re-fixed. The conditional message is hidden for FxOS again.

I am still getting the "looks like you're using an older version of Firefox" when using the Firefox OS simulator. I even clear cache and cookies and tried again.
It's working properly on actual FxOS devices.

The FxOS simulator and FxOS devices report different navigator.platform which makes the platform detection fail. See https://github.com/mozilla/r2d2b2g/issues/827

ah! I knew that navigator.platform was blank on fxos devices, but I would have assumed that the simulator would simulate all of it. Thanks for putting in the issue.

Raymond: Can you check out https://www-demo2.allizom.org/en-US/firefox/new/ on a real FxOS device and post a screenshot of what you see? Don't use the simulator.
