88427 - addressing pane of mail compose window sticks

Steps to reproduce:

1. Set addressing prefs to:
      look in Local AB and Directory Server 
      choose Directory Server which will bring lots search results, like
      nsdirectory.netscape.com
      Make sure Directory Server properties have default  values:
      minStringLength = 0,
      maxHits=100
      filter = (objectclass=*)
     This way  the search in the directory will take at least few seconds.
  
2. In new mail composition window enter one letter  in the To: field that will 
   bring some matches from Local AB
 
3. In search results while there are no results from the server just from local     
   AB choose something and press Enter.
   
    Expected results:  chosen address stays in the field and we progress to the
                       next To: field
    Actual results:    addressing pane of the compose window sticks. We have to  
                       press some key (except Enter, Tab, arrows and so on)
                       to be able to skip to the next line and add new addr.

My suspicion is that the issue here is in the autocomplete widget XBL, but I'm
just guessing.

Related matter (I think): In Netscape, it was possible to highlight an address
and delete or change it by clicking on the folder icon in the addressing pane. 
This doesn't work with current Mozilla for the Mac (2001070908).  The folder
icon is non-interactive.
