Ignore add-ons that have opted out of AMO updates
No description provided.
Question: do we *retrospectively* remove add-ons from the environment on opt-out, given that this will require recomputing a historical environment? Or do we simply reflect the pref change when it occurs? The middle ground -- don't recompute the environment, but don't show the add-on -- would involve comparing the current environment's permissions. Doable.
On the desktop side of things there was discussion that ignoring these add-ons was silly since it would throw off correlation and it would hurt the ability to detect misbehaving add-ons. I would encourage you to find that bug and consider marking this WONTFIX.
Works for me. Can you give me a pointer to the bug you're referring to?
