This bug suggest that we should add options to "repo sync" such as we can either get the latest gecko and the matching gaia version, or the latest gaia with the matching gecko version. Bug 868598 introduces a file which refers to the gaia version which corresponds to a gecko version. It currently contains a changeset of a mercurial clone of gaia. This changeset can be converted into a git-commit by using the map-file of the server. Doing so will also enhance the way we bisect changes in B2G by providing a more reliable way to do comparisons, than using date as described in Bug 884886.
