Not sure if this is on purpose. It looks kine of tacky. I assume this has been around since original implementation of themes (Personas). See attachment https://bug885240.bugzilla.mozilla.org/attachment.cgi?id=765240 screenshot

Awesomebar suggestion prompt was intended to use themes. However the edges are broken by some recent changes. That's tracked by another bug.
