Details

From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:0.9.2) Gecko/20010628 BuildID: 2001062823 In the place in the menubar where I would expect the "File", "Edit", View" and "Help" entries, only an empty entry is avialable. In that menus some entries are lost: The length of the menu is normal, but I cannot see the entries (the place where they should be is just empty). That error occurs with modern and classic theme. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Just open Mozilla 2. 3. Actual Results: The drscribed problem is present. Expected Results: ;-) It should show me the whole menu...
Reporter: open mozilla with "mozilla -profilemanager" and create a new profile. That should fix your problem.
Yeah, fixed - but still unlucky for those who are using 0.9.1 and like to use their old profile in 0.9.1.
Sorry, I ment: "...like to use their old profile in 0.9.2."
Seems that this is caused by the file "/home/user/.mozilla/profilname/something/chrome/user-locales.rdf". When using this file generated by the 0.9.2 profile-manager in the old 0.9.1-profile, it seems that everything is fine.

The only thing that you can do to to fix your old profile : delete the files in profile/chrome, delete localstore.rdf. you can also copy some files from your old profile to your new one. read the section about used files in the release notes (cookie blocking files..) and also and your bookmarks. marking worksforme...
removing entries which point to other language-packages than en-US solved it in my case, too.
Product: Browser → Seamonkey
