Hi Team, For the No One Ever graphic, I'd like to promote this to our desktop priority markets through content advertising. However, Facebook has a policy of no page post photo ad having more than 20% text overlay in the image if you're using advertising to promote it. Can you tell me if the text will take up more than 20% of the graphic? If yes, no worries. I can find another option for ads. We'd like to keep the same style as the other "No one ever" graphics, and if it doesn't naturally work, I don't want to force it :)! Thanks, Michaela
Hi Matt, Any chance you have time to work on this earlier in the week? We need to get a few scheduled for the weekend. Primarily the no one ever and the shortcut one.

Hi Carmen, I have scheduled today to work on these posts. I am hoping to get all done today, but at the least I will add 'No one ever' and the 'shortcut' to the top of the list.

Hi Carmen, here is what I am thinking for this month's 'No One Ever' post. It's a bit tricky of a simplified graphic to represent the quote, but thought something like a group of 3 with a single wifi icon above could work. Let me know what you think!
Comment on attachment 776542 [details] July_404x403_FB_post_NoOneEverQuote You're right - this one is a bit harder. I don't know about the wi-fi symbol, that's a bit confusing. popping in some "power to the people" imagery to help us think. I'd also ask John. :) http://www.entrepreneur.com/dbimages/blog/h1/tech-entrepreneurs-urge-presidential-candidates-to-consider-internet-freedom.jpg
Agreed that this is hard, and that the wifi symbol probably isn't quite it. I'd avoid going too "power to the people" here...something like a clinched fist is a little angrier than I'd like to see. Running off to a meeting now, so sorry to only weigh in with a couple of things not to do rather than actual suggestions. Will keep thinking.
Comment on attachment 776583 [details] July_403x403_FB_post_friendOfFirefox Like it! I forgot to add in these translations as well. ES: Amigo de Firefox PT: None German Freund von Firefox ID: Teman Firefox PL: Przyjaciel Firefoksa GR: Φίλος του Firefox

One more!
Thanks for the feedback on the 'No One Ever' post. I will give it some more thought, and see what I can come up with.
Comment on attachment 776607 [details] July_404x403_FB_post_community Is there a way to outline the bubble? It kind of gets lost in the image a bit.
Let me know what you think of using the blue instead of the orange.

I've attached a possible direction for the 'No One Ever' post. The idea is to highlight a part of the world using the shadow vs light effect...also further highlighting the internet benefiting of one group by using 'stars/lights'. Let me know what you think of this idea!
Attachment #776542 - Attachment is obsolete: true
Thanks Matt. I worry that highlighting a certain section of the world - even a world with fake continents - may cause some upset if it makes people think we are favoring one area over the other. That may seem ridiculous, but this sort of thing has actually happened! I think you were going in a better direction with the little people outlines earlier. Maybe something with a crowd of those little figures? Just a thought starter. (Side note: would also avoid drawing distinctions between those figures based on color...for obvious reasons.)
Attached image July_404x403_FB_post_NoOneEverQuote (obsolete) —
Hey John, I've gone back to the person icon look for this version. It's pretty abstract, but its the idea of one being highlighted over others. Let me know if there are any aspects of this idea you think work.
Attachment #776661 - Attachment is obsolete: true
I think you're onto something. Maybe it should actually be multiple people being called out instead of a single person? To emphasize the group message from the, copy that is. Not sure how this would work within the layout, but perhaps if the smaller group were set apart from the larger group in some way...
Attached image July_404x403_FB_post_NoOneEverQuote (obsolete) —
Hey John, thanks for the direction, not sure if this will do the trick, but I've repositioned the figures a bit to illustrate your suggestion.
Attachment #776715 - Attachment is obsolete: true
Comment on attachment 776871 [details] July_404x403_FB_post_NoOneEverQuote I think this is pretty good. :) If John's okay with it, I'm good.
Looks good. I might lighten the front part of the crowd in the back a bit more to make it clear that the distinction isn't being drawn by color, necessarily. Otherwise I really like it.
maybe something like this? I've brought the shades a bit closer together to make it look closer to a depth effect as opposed to colour separation.
Attachment #776871 - Attachment is obsolete: true
Exactly! Really like how this one turned out.
Thanks! I will post the translated versions shortly.
Hey Carmen, Are you all set on this final batch? I'm going to go ahead and resolve this, but reopen if you need something else.
