If the type of garbage the reporter is talking about is similar to that in the screenshot I've just attached, then I have the same problem in 0.9.2. I've heard people talk about it on Slashdot as well. However, I believe it's been fixed in the nightlies. Adding "modern" keyword and changing component to Themes.

Yes, this is the mild case of what I have.

Reporter, can you post a screenshot of your problem? I wonder why it seems to be worse than mine.

If this was fixed already, shouldn't it be resolved DUPLICATE?
Comment 9•23 years ago

Duplicate of what? I think this problem only exists in 0.9.2 and this is the only bug that was filed about it. Possibly it should have been marked as FIXED rather than INVALID, but I don't think it's worth worrying about.

I have had exactly the same problem with 0.9.1!

Yes, this bug was already fixed couple weeks ago, I guess. The reason you saw the garbage in Navigation/personal Toolbar or even sometimes the throbber was missing because the back/forward buttons when you clicked, all the toolbars were messed up. I think currently I don't see it anymore. Should marked verified-fixed.

Dupe of Bug 80292? Should be fixed in the nightlies.

Artem Kornilov, are you still seeing this with a current build?

Seems like the problem does not exist in 0.9.4 when running Windows NT 4.0. I have not tested Windows'98 yet.

wfm on Win2K and I haven't seen this on Win98 with builds a week old and on any recent builds before that. Probably caught with latest round of modern clean-ups. Marking fixed as per comments above.
