User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.7; rv:21.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/21.0 (Beta/Release) Build ID: 20130511120803 Steps to reproduce: I have something like 150 folders, with some of them containing 25K messages. When a new message is signaled in one folder (the number of new messages is shown), and if I select this folder to read the new messages, it takes quite a while to get those messages to appear Actual results: I have set some imap logs (see attachment) which show that all the headers are being fetched, no matter what. When you have 25K headers to fetch, it takes quite a while. Side note : the folders are configured to check if there are some new messages available. Side note 2 : I'm fetching the mails from gmail (just in case...) Expected results: Only the new headers should have been fetched.
FTR, I have compacted the folders, same pb. I'm also almost pretty sure that those delays weren't present in the previous versions of TB.
emmanuel, does bug 816327 describe your problem?

(In reply to Thomas D. from comment #2) > emmanuel, does bug 816327 describe your problem? Seems so. But I really can't switch the mail.server.default.autosync_offline_stores parameter to false, as I have around 200 folders and it's a no go to check them manually. However, since a few weeks, the pb seems to be away (or unnoticable at least).
