Details
From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:0.9.2) Gecko/20010628
BuildID: 2001062815
The from Collumn shows "..." no way to change this.
You cannot put ANYTHING in the message field.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Compose New Message
2. Be Able to do nothing
3.
Expected Results: have a working Spell Checker/Composition Dialog
Same result occurred on Linux machines as well, I eventually rectified it by
removing my .mozilla dir... but removing the mozilla folder from aplication data
on the win2k box did nothing.
Perhapps reminants of old mozilla builds are fussing it up.
Regardless, hopefully this is the sign of mozill having a spell checker. :)
I believe this bug is not (solely) about spell-check (what's mozilla status of
spellchecker?) but rather the problem we had with the compose window... see bug
86966 (also has a few duplicates with other specific situations).
Reporter: Can you try again to see that the composition window allows you to
enter in the message body, "from" lists identity(ies), etc.?

worksforme with 091103 mozilla 0.9.4 branch build on win2K. please reopen if you
can reproduce compose problems on a current build. thanks.
note: mozilla does not have a spellchecker and it doesn't look like one will
materialize anytime soon.
