Details
Irving developed a useful JSM in bug 853388: DeferredSave.jsm. It was decided in that bug that it should eventually be moved into /toolkit/modules. But, that would be delayed so as to not hold up that bug landing. This is likely low priority until someone outside of Addons Manager needs the functionality.
