Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/27.0.1453.116 Safari/537.36
Steps to reproduce:
I'm using latest FireFox downloaded for public use. It says it's firefox 21 and euballot 1.1.
Simply go to soundcloud, stream your favourite music and voila, firefox loads all pages in new tabs INCREADIBLY slow or don't load them at all. I open up google chrome by the side and load the same pages, and they load instantly. If I STOP streaming music in soundcloud, firefox goes back to it's normal behaviour.
The only plugins I have installed are: DownThemAll! (not open currently), AdBlockPlus, Firebug
Actual results:
Increadibly slow firefox
Expected results:
Fast firefox as usual

I can confirm tremendously sluggish behaviour on soundcloud.com, with occassional hangs on page load (100% cpu, up to ten seconds). I think it correlates with the 'music timelines' shown on almost every page. When there are more, Firefox feels slower / hangs more frequently.
This is Firefox 22.0 on Ubuntu LTS (12.04).

Try to reproduce this with a clean profile and if that works see if disabling Firebug makes it fast again.

Hi Elrinth,
I have tested the mentioned issues on latest Firefox release (43.0.4) and latest Nightly (46.0a1) and could not reproduce it. Listened music from soundcloud.com but the page works properly. I have not encountered issues like the ones described.
Firefox: 43.0.4, Build ID: 20160105164030, User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:43.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/43.0
Firefox: 46.0a1, Build ID: 20160111030207, User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:46.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/46.0
Can you please test this on the latest Firefox release (43.0.4) or latest Nightly (46.0a1, https://nightly.mozilla.org/) and tell me if this still reproduces for you ? When doing this please use a new fresh Firefox profile, maybe also in safe mode (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-and-diagnose-firefox-problems).
Thanks,
Cosmin.

As I reported this a long time ago, it seems either you fixed it, or soundcloud fixed it. I'm at version 43.04 right now.
