User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/27.0.1453.110 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce: Suppose a nasty guy polluting several usenet groups I read. If I make a filter from his post, it will apply only to one newsgroup. Similarily, I have several IMAP mail accounts, but some of the sorting filters are identical for each. Actual results: There is no way to copy-past or move a filter to another IMAP account or usenet level of hierarchy. Expected results: 1: a button or menu item to edit to which account the filter applys 2: for newsgroups, a button to promote a filter from one newsgroup to higher in the hierachy or even for all groups. 3: operations for copy pasting filters through different accounts or groups.
I should think this is a duplicate. But I don't find one

I was looking for something news oriented, which bug 229493 is not. But think it's close enough. And we can reopen if a fixed bug 229493 doesn't cut it.
