User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/27.0.1453.110 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce:

I have several IMAP accounts with plenty of folders containing several folders containing sevral folders (etc).
I want to search within the emails of some mail account or some folder.
In the search window, I have to click on the menu "search in:" and chose.

Actual results:

This menu flatten in a single list absolutely all the folders and subfolders (etc) of all my accounts. It is especially difficult to parse and reach the one I want. Even the Inbox folder of the 2nd and 3rd account are far in the list.

Expected results:

Many solutions are possible. One would be to do what is already done elsewhere in thunderbird:
When you want to copy or move a message to somewhere else, for chosing the target account&folder you have a cascade of menus, and not a single flaten menu.
Even if not that easy on deep cascades, it ease hundreds time better than a flatten menu with thousands items. thanks !
Yes, this is already done for TB24 (also in other places, like filter editor).
