Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:22.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/22.0 (Beta/Release)
Build ID: 20130618035212

Steps to reproduce:

Using auto Upgrader software ..... Ninite
www.ninite.com

Software notified new version was available so ran upgrade via Ninite

Actual results:

Running Windows home premium 7 64 bit .
On upgrade usual Firefox icon ( fox wrapped around the world) has changed to a new icon that resembles a software package installer icon ...... with a box/package with a disk in the foreground.
Have tried unpinning icons from desktop, start menu and task bar, several times.
But as soon as I re pin Firefox then the same unusual icon appears.

Expected results:

Usual Firefox icon should have remained on taskbar, start menu and desktop after completing the upgrade to version 22
That's not a Firefox problem, but OS is, delete IconCache.db in your profile folder and reboot
