User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux i686; rv:22.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/22.0 (Beta/Release) Build ID: 20130620121849 Steps to reproduce: 1) open any website, e.g. http://addons.mozilla.org 2) in another tab, open another page, e.g. http://developer.mozilla.org 3) right-click anywhere on the page in the current tab (MDN) and select "Inspect Element" 4) Immediately switch back to your first tab (AMO). You have to do this really fast or try on a slower PC Actual results: On my slow-ish computer, the Developer Tools opened in the wrong tab (AMO), but still showed the source of the MDN tab. When I selected an Element in the "Inspector" view, the outlines of the elements in the MDN-tab were drawn on the AMO tab. Expected results: Dev Tools should open in the tab I wanted to inspect.
Reproduced with 2013-01-07-03-09-32-mozilla-central-firefox-20.0a1.en-US.linux-x86_64. It can be difficult to reproduce. However, the latest Nightly 2013-10-16-03-02-02-mozilla-central-firefox-27.0a1.en-US.linux-x86_64 easily hangs with the StR, so this bug is not visible if it still exists.
