User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.0; rv:22.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/22.0 (Beta/Release) Build ID: 20130618035212 Steps to reproduce: I tried to post a PDF on my site manual using the following fonts via Acrobat: Filled Text: Constant ColorSpace: ICCBasedRGB, sRGB IEC61966-2.1 Color Values = [0.00, 0.34, 0.55] Font: Arial-BoldMT Size: 16.00 Type: OpenType TT Overprint=False OPM=1 ri=Relative Colorimetric Filled Text: Constant ColorSpace: Separation, Black Color Values = [1.00] Font: ArialMT Size: 10.00 Trype: OpenType TT Overprint=True OPM=1 ri=Relative Colorimetric Actual results: An example of my text, which should have read: Page 06 -- ML02V02A -- www.(my company URL).com ...instead comes out as: 3DJH 0/ 9 $ ZZZ (FOLSVH5DFNPRXQW FRP Expected results: I'm assuming "ArialMT" (and BoldMT) need to be supported in the Firefox browser. I do not get this issue in Internet Explorer, and the document displays correctly in Adobe if it is saved through the Firefox browser. Any help with this is greatly appreciated!
Let me know if you would like me to provide a link to one of the PDF manuals in question! Thanks again for the help.
Hi Matt. Sorry no one has responded yet to your question or bug report! Yes, it would be very helpful if you could give a link so we can confirm the issue and take a look. There are many reports of similar issues, so this may end up being a duplicate bug. Thanks!
