Steps to reproduce:

Open context menu on FF Aurora in Windows 7 taskbar


Actual results:

The only thing that come up is a mini-view of the current tab open in FF


Expected results:

Context menu, similar to FF beta & release, with list of currently open tabs, & option to pin to taskbar etc

I tried also in FF Aurora safe mode and the issue still exists

FF Beta and FF Release are both working correctly

It sounds like a dupe of bug 870529.

Are you sure your Aurora is up-to-date?

yes - I just updated right now in fact and retested. I'm on 24.0a2 (2013-07-01)

no. it still doesn't work. please see attached image so I can be clear what I mean. Does no-one else have FF aurora on Win 7 64bit to confirm this for me?

I tried with the latest Aurora on Win 7, context menu appears when I right-click on the pinned icon in the taskbar.

Could you test with a fresh profile, please.

WIERD. I tried with fresh profile, and got the correct context menu. then went back to my default profile and the menu also works. why did switching to a fresh profile fix this?

I appreciate that it works now, but would like to know why

I think it should be left open for a bit, so anyone with the same issue can refer to it and perhaps find out what the real reason for the issue is. it doesn't seem resolved to me

I think it's time to close this one - I haven't seen any sign of it since it got "resolved" by switching profiles
