I don't think we can change the translation here, we will need a UX solution
Have you tried any workaround consulting the l10n UX recommendations? https://docs.google.com/document/d/16P56U6bSM1KVunkCG3WLmtH1cmhQf7YxT4mTPyWAnUw/edit

If you have looked at this doc and nothing applies: is the truncation the way it is still understandable to the general public?

Verified on Leo V1.1. COM RIL,
The text no longer overlaps the USB switch

Not sure why this is a WFM, as ‘Unplug USB cable to disable’ is still truncated in Dutch (on Keon). It will need a UX solution though, as we cannot shorten it.
There is something changed (the text is not on top of the switch anymore) but the text is still truncated

Agreed. Also note that this is also valid for en-US (on Keon). It says ‘Unplug USB cable to disa...’, and also applies to fr and de. I’d suggest to add a second line, or make the line appear under the radio button if that fits.
fixed with gail-switch
