On my Keon, it can be hard to tell exactly how full the battery is without going into settings and looking at the battery area.

My proposal is to have an option in the battery area of the settings to change the icon in the top bar to a %.

I am willing to work on this, I just thought I'd try to get some input from UX before I started. Especially in areas like is the battery area the right place for a setting like that (it is where I'd look but maybe there is a better place) as well as what the % should look like when charging vs not charging, etc.

This sounds like a decent idea.   We would still need some sort of icon to indicate that the % value has something to do with the battery though since I think a %xx alone might be a bit ambiguous.

In terms of settings placement, I think that the "Battery" section in settings makes sense under "Current Level":

"Show battery percentage [On/Off]"


The icon for charging could change to a battery + power plug icon?

Alrighty, I'll hack out the settings and make it so it can show a %. We can figure out the % and exact look while I am doing that.
