I don't understand what is the purpose of the globe icon at all. I would believe that majority of users are able to switch in their Settings (or in the Initial Experience) they locale, and be happy with their preferred keyboard layout. Since then the globe icon is just major irritation for me, because I constantly by mistake switch my keyboard layouts. Yes, that's another bug, although I have select only one keyboard layout, the Czech one, I am still able to switch with the globe icon to different ones, including some which doesn't make to me whatsoever, like French one with different layout. Also, there doesn't seem to be too much space in the keyboard layout, so why to use it for the button with very vague purpose. If somebody actually needs to switch keyboard constantly (I wonder how many people like that are there), could you at least make the globe icon optional (switched off by default)?

If you have only one keyboard layout enabled, the "globe" icon should not be shown in keyboard app. If there are more than one, then that is our design to show it, so this part should have a UX discussion around it. :)
Hi Matěj, This is a really old bug and our layout selection feature in Settings was implemented correct at the time. Could you try out the latest master and be specific on what we could improve? You can needinfo :omega for info regarding the UX design. If the current behavior is fine should close this as WORKSFORME.
