Please refer to fixed bug, https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=806282, now ALT+downarrow worked on this button. Per Microsoft's Keyboard shortcuts for Windows (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/126449): ALT+DOWN ARROW: Opens a drop-down list box, Unfortunately, ALT+DownArrow is not a compliant key combo for a button menu - it will not be recognized by JAWS nor is it discoverable by blind users. when Jaws user navigate to the button, it reads: press space key to activate, but neither Space key , nor Alt+DownArrow work for Jaws users.
JAWS usage of your product.
You're not forced to use Alt+DownArrow anymore. How is this bug different from bug 806282?
Please note the comments that Ann added: I notified the Mozilla Lead Accessibility Developer that this was still reproducible in FF21. His response: "I think you need to file another bug. Make sure to refer to fixed bug saying you can still reproduce a problem and cc all people from there." When a new FF bug is opened and the bug number posted here, Sametime will not need a deviation. The FF bug and the symptoms caused by it (failure) must be listed in the appropriate Accessibility Checklist. Without a new FF bug, Sametime must have a deviation. Thought I received an email from the team that indicated ALT+downarrow worked on this button. If so, this is compliant. Per Microsoft's Keyboard shortcuts for Windows  (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/126449): ALT+DOWN ARROW: Opens a drop-down list box Unfortunately, ALT+DownArrow is not a compliant key combo for a button menu - it will not be recognized by JAWS nor is it discoverable by blind users. See my text in Comment #18 above and open a new FF defect.
I'm not sure I follow the bug. Is it about that button menu supports not standard combo alt+downarrow? If so then why is it a problem and how should it be resolved?
Hi Alex - JAWS does not support using alt+downarrow to open a button menu. See above comment from Dão Gottwald [:dao] 2013-07-05 01:34:12 PDT "You're not forced to use Alt+DownArrow anymore. How is this bug different from bug 806282?" That comment fails to state what keyboard interaction will now operate the button menu - do you know?

If I understood right that bug 806282 supported "space" and "return" keys. Doesn't it work?
I've requested that it be re-tested in FF 21 or later and that those test results be entered here.
Hi Alex - Product team verified that in Firefox25, Space and Enter key can open the button menu - we're good now! THANKS!
(In reply to Ann Abbott from comment #8) > Hi Alex - > > Product team verified that in Firefox25, Space and Enter key can open the > button menu - we're good now! THANKS! ok, cool, thanks, marking a dupe of bug 806282 then
