Mozilla 0.9.2 Have been using 0.9.2 for 3 days, I've now on 6 occasions had a problem that occurs whilst browsing https sites. After some time browsing a site (I have yet to identify a particular action, or page, that triggers the problem, one guess is slow sites/connection) the error "The connection was refused when attempting to contact ..." is displayed. Fine, maybe theres a problem at the server. However, after this, NO connection is possible to ANY site from any application in Windows - e.g. I try Mozilla to different sites, Mozilla Mail, Netscape, I.E., NSNOTIFY, Yahoo Messenger... all get connection failed messages or equivalent. Exiting from Mozilla clears the problem, and if restarted, I can access that https site again.. for a while. The https sites I've seen the problem on so far are: www.barclaycard.co.uk, olb2.nationet.com, www.virgintrainsfares.co.uk. Bug 88839 looks similar but doesnt appear to affect all applications.
Looks like a dupe of bug 88839 on Win98

I had forgotten about reporting this bug! All these years on, I'm on Firefox 1.0 - and haven't seen this bug for years. So as far as I am concerned, resolved. Thanks!
