Steps to reproduce:

Updated to Firefox 22


Actual results:

My initial display is zoomed 2x, so to return to my normal display I must use ctrl+- twice.

My display is 1650x1050 and I have the font set to 125%


Expected results:

Ther should have been no change to the display.  I have reverted to Firefox 18 with which I do not have a problem, and automatic updates have been turned off.  I tried Firefox 21 and 23 but the bug is still there

The change is intentional (but 844604). Firefox 22 follows the dpi settings of the system.

There is a setting to disable the adjustment mentioned in bug 851268 comment 11.

If you prefer text on your screen to be smaller, why not set it back to 100%?

This is not a good solution (even if you don't care about any new/improved features that may come along), as old versions of Firefox will not receive critical security updates.

If you really want to have your Windows font scale set to 125%, yet keep web pages in Firefox displayed smaller rather than respecting that setting, there are add-ons such as Default Zoom Level or NoSquint that let you set a default zoom for the browser.
