>>Project/Request Title:
Adaptive Search Screenshots

>>Project Overview:
T-mobile Poland have asked for a before and after screenshot; from when a user begins an adaptive search query, to the results page.

What we have doesn't cover all this, so I would like to have a screenshot made for each of the steps in the flow, including (i) the swipe left, (ii) the blank adaptive search page (iii) typing the query in (iv) loading... and finally the results page.

We will likely need this for all Carriers, so would be good to think about doing this in multiple languages, with their results.

This is a key, differentiating feature for Firefox OS, and one that I believe is important to have ready in our Carrier assets -- and get right.

>>Creative Specs & Deliverables:
Same format/res as current screenshots on Box.

Not sure if this flow can be animated in a 1080p video too, so the flow can be provided as an asset for future video assets? For the sake of the initial request from T-mob Poland however- this is not as urgent (T-mob PL will animate this themselves).

N.b - launch date and creative due dates are estimates. I've written back to T-mobile to confirm when they need this by.

Thanks Dan. The adaptive screenshots are particularly complicated b/c we have to simulate the results, get approvals from partners, etc. In the name of keeping the scope manageable, let's just work from the existing assets for now. Sound ok? And if so, do you have a preference between our football, party and coffee scenarios?

We will need to get some assets from the product team to make this happen as well. I'll reach out to them to see what they have.

Hey Dan. The product UX team doesn't have any design files for the various scenes requested above. Their recommendation is to see if e.me can provide a PSD to work from. How can we check on this? Do you have a contact there? This is a significantly more difficult project if we have to work from scratch.

Hey John

1. - re: approvals from partners, this shouldn't be an issue. Presumably we already have the partner approvals for the current adaptive search screenshot?

2. In the interest of time, we could go straight from the homescreen to the e.me page that says: 'For example find your favorite singer or band', to the keyed in search term, to the existing results screenshot. This should also be quite easy to draw up no?

3. Re: asking e.me, unfortunately no -- I don't have a contact there. I'll reach out to the rest of the team and see if they know someone.

4. T-mob have just asked if we can have this ready for Friday -- sounds like this won't be possible. If not, we'll have to miss this opportunity, and plan for the next time.

We do. As long as we stick to the existing topics (coffee, football, party) we're fine. If we expand the results like I thought you were suggesting, that becomes more problematic.

Should be, yes. So I'm clear, where would this text be entered in (as in, on which screen)?

Cool, thanks. The product folks will have contacts, I'm sure.

Yes, next time for sure. Want to propose a new due date?

Checking in to see where things stand...perhaps this could be part of the screenshots being created for FxOS wave 2 that we'll be discussing soon?
