Right now installing reps locally requires vagrant. This is problematic because... * it may be more difficult for contributors than virtualenv * our vagrant instance is very out of date Let's make virtualenv an option. Mozillians has done this, and :giorgos may be a resource on this.

Good idea. All we need to do is to update docs and add a couple of missing deps in requirements. I've a post-it saying "markdown, pycrypto, fudge". Maybe incomplete or outdated. That's all!
