From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux 2.4.2-2 i686; en-US; rv:0.9) Gecko/20010507 BuildID: 20010628 Installation of the java plugin on 0.92 results in browser not being able to start, gives message in popup like "...previous installation to complete...". The plugin xpi appeared to install properly. Install of jre on 0.90 works fine (0.91 might work too), java works fine, subsequent upgrade to 0.92 (via rpm -F) results in browser hang when visiting any site with an applet. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Install 0.92 2.Install JRE via .xpi 3.restart browser OR 1. Install 0.90 2. Install jre 3. restart browser and view applet to confirm install 4. rpm -F 0.92 on top of 0.90 5. restart browser and notice hang when viewing applet page. Actual Results: Browser fails to start, opens popup with message about previos installation... or Browser starts and hangs on any page containing an applet. Expected Results: Browser starts, runs applets. System: RedHat 7.1/x86
