User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686) AppleWebKit/537.22 (KHTML, like Gecko) Ubuntu Chromium/25.0.1364.160 Chrome/25.0.1364.160 Safari/537.22
Steps to reproduce:
1. Logged into Mozillians as a vouched user.
2. Selected "Edit your Profile" option from the dropdown user menu.
3. Selected a .jpg file on my computer for the profile photo.
4. Left the Full Name field blank, scrolled down and clicked on Update.
Actual results:
There was an Application error and the request could not be processed.
Expected results:
The error message displayed did not communicate to the user the cause of the error, which in this case, seemed to be due to the Full Name field left blank.
Extending [Bug 891795]
From the page which displays the application error, clicked on Log out from the user drop down menu.
I was logged out and almost immediately (~1sec) logged in again.
May lead to security concerns.
This was observed in Ubuntu 11.10/Windows 7 and Chrome 25.0/Firefox 22.0/IE 10 combinations.
I can work on this bug...If anyone hasnt already started working on it.Can anybody please confirm?

I followed the steps outlined above and was able to reproduce this bug. The expected results are seen when you upload a picture first and then try to leave the first name field blank

Attempting to upload an image AND leave the name field blank generates an error.
Confirmed

I managed to reproduce this, logged out and was logged back in. My suggestion is that we file another bug for this.

Can't reproduce this bug anymore. Probably we fixed it while working on form errors. Thanks for filing!
