Steps to reproduce:

A warning is displayed which says- The following fields are required :1.Optin
The warning message pops up if the checkbox about privacy policy below Location field is left blank while creating new account. 



Expected results:

The 'Optin' looks like 'Option' which is mispelled. The alert message should display 'Opt-in' instead of 'Optin'.

The appropriate error message is specified in https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=797790#c6:

1. Change the error message string to:
"Please complete the following field" (if there are multiple error messages, let's say "fields")

The current error message string says:
"The following fields are required (optin is the checkbox in the last panel):"

2. Change the wording when a required field is missing:
* "Agree to Mozilla's privacy policy" [currently says 'optin']

As part of bug 895459 we created a generic error message at the top of the form and inline with the fields causing the error. It's live in dev: https://mozillians-dev.allizom.org/en-US/user/edit/

Annashree, thank you for filing this bug - with bug 895459 being completed the latest iteration of the user profile designs are ready for testing. I think you'll be pleasantly happy with what the team has come up with.
