Right now we only expose the total count of times a remix has been made of the current make. It would be really nice if we could also expose all of the users/projects that have been remixed from a particular make as well instead of the limit of 5 that we have right now.
Perhaps a limit isn't a bad thing. We need to deal with situations where the two or three most recent remixes are from the same user, because as it stands, it'll display the name multiple times. A collapsible list might work for something like that.
From IRC: cassiemc 2:25 mjschranz: does this cover what you mean? https://docs.google.com/file/d/0BzfN9sXlOXt1X2lNXzVFd1VEQ28/edit?usp=sharing cassiemc 2:25 i realize it doesn't have a trail of other projects 2:25 but the list of users could presumably go on and on mjschranz 2:26 cassiemc: Right, it could go on an on and that's why we limit it right now to prevent the details page from being scrollable when viewed in that fashion. mjschranz 2:26 Ideally though if there are more than 5 remixes, we show who all of those people are. cassiemc 2:26 mjschranz: so you're saying the limit of 5 isn't the right number? mjschranz cassiemc: I think what I'm saying is, if they can't have an easy way of finding all of the people who have remixed their make why do we show the 5 that are there?
forgot this bit: In order to expose more remixes, we can add some functionality to /search that will pull in remixes of a particular project.
Hello Cassie, I would like to work on this bug. This would be my first bug. Could you please guide me through the procedure?
