Steps to reproduce:

Correct address to log in to webmail for a domain is https://outlook.com/foo.com


Actual results:

Address is rewritten as https://www.outlook.com/foo.com which results in a 404


Expected results:

Firefox should not have changed the URL as entered. I have already changed the config to the following: browser.fixup.alternate.enabled;false

WFm with FF22 on Win 7.

https://outlook.com/ redirects to https://login.live.com/

Could you try with a clean profile please:
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles

Clean profile resolved it, thanks! Strange that this is happening on dozens of machines used by many different people.

Before creating new profiles and migrating your data, try in safe mode:

The issue could be a faulty add-on.
