Details

You should be able to "search" in every one of our tools. What exactly "search" means is up to the tool to define. The important thing is that users can expect some consistency in keyboard shortcuts for all of our tools. Switching between tools should be pleasant experience with as little interruption (different keyboard shortcuts for the "same" action) as possible.

Is bug 1224115 valid to be added here or should there be a specific bug for enabling Ctrl+F to search within the Storage panel? Sebastian
