User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.8; rv:22.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/22.0 (Beta/Release) Build ID: 20130618035212 Steps to reproduce: Make a text selection by double-clicking a word, triple-clicking a paragraph, or by pointer drag, then press Cmd+Shift+DownArrow to extend the selection to the end of the document. Actual results: The selection does not grow to include the text below the existing selection. Expected results: The existing selection should expand downward to include the document contents through to the bottom of the document, as it does in Chrome, Safari, TextEdit, and most other Mac applications that support document selections. This functionality is present in Firefox on Windows (via Ctrl+Shift+End) Likewise, Cmd+Shift+UpArrow should extend the selection to the top of the document.

Hi bits, thank you for the bug report. I would also expect the Mac keyboard shortcut to work that way. For now, you might try the customizable shortcuts add-on, https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/customizable-shortcuts/.

I tried the Customizable Shortcuts add-on, but there doesn't appear to be a way to add a keyboard shortcut to a function that isn't already in its list. Neither selecting to beginning or end of document (nor similar) are listed. Did I miss something?
