Steps to reproduce:

mozprocess tests take significantly longer to run than they need. I've modified the ini files and the tests so that the times are all reduced, but the constructs they originally test are still the same. mozprocess tests now complete in ~20 seconds (vs ~100 seconds before).

Agreed, the mozprocess tests take an unnecessary amount of time to run.

This slipped through the cracks, but this is something we should have done a long time ago.

I think this patch is probably bitrotted though. I'll test it out.

Yep, it's bitrotted, and there have been more tests added since. I was wondering if this would be a good first bug, but I'm not sure because it requires understanding all the edge-cases the tests are designed for.
