Steps to reproduce:

(i) Restart firefox with Add-ons disabled
(ii) Re-installed firefox


Actual results:

(i) Issue persists
(ii) Issue persists


Expected results:

There should not be any delay/freezing while switching between tabs
Adding to this, there is a huge delay while trying to open new tabs in the same firefox window. All add-ons disabled, firefox re-installed, but problem persists.
Try with a clean profile, please:

This bug still exist for me. Not to the extant that it used to be but still for a millisecond to seconds which is bearable. It used to be worst when flash plugin container used to load. To get rid of the freezing state, I have to click elsewhere but firefox.
