2001070408 and 070314 trunk for MacOS9.1 The URL crashes entire system. My PowerbookG3(2000) just freezes accessing this URL after the window title is displayed. Currently my networking is via Airport. Anything capable of crashing the entire system should be considered a blocker, IMHO.

My hunch here is this has something to do with plugins. I have seen other sites with QT and RealPlayer plugin where Mozilla froze the entire system. Maybe similar to bug 89089.

WFM in Win32 using Quicktime 5 in a debug build from early this week. Updaing my build now and will try on Mac. Question: On Linux, there is no Quicktime. What plugin are you using to play the MIDI or does the default plugin come up?
Summary: Url crashes mozilla → crash in nsPluginStreamListenerPeer::SetUpStreamListener()

It crashes, what else do you expect me to see? I have a sound blaster live which currently the driver by creative does not support midi. So if i go to a webpage that has midi, i get a prompt to download a plugin. The same goes for quicktime. But as i said, i never get those prompts because the browser crashes earlier

Yeah, right, I forgot to mention that there was no QT or RealPlayer plugins installed in my case either, just the default plugins.

WFM in 2001070608 trunk (likely fixed by bug 89529) Resolving as dupe is OK??? The bug 89529 is Mac only fix, though. Please close if it is WFM in Linux, too.
