We need to upgrade to MySQL 5.6 on jenkins. This can be done at any time, just make sure there are no builds happening on https://ci.mozilla.org/ (bottom right) and shut down mysql.
Doing this now.
Upgrade of jenkins was successful. Noting that the old packages included MariaDB-common and -devel but not -shared-compat. The new packages are: MySQL-client-5.6.12-1.el6.x86_64 MySQL-devel-5.6.12-2.el6.x86_64 MySQL-server-5.6.12-1.el6.x86_64 MySQL-shared-5.6.12-1.el6.x86_64 MySQL-shared-compat-5.6.12-2.el6.x86_64
:solarce kicked off a build and I see queries. Things look good, I'll close out this bug.
