>>Project/Request Title:
Uplinq Banner Artwork
>>Project Overview:
In addition to a booth at the Uplinq event, we will have two meeting rooms and would like to feature a pull-up banner at each room. These rooms are to be used for BD and partner meetings.
>>Creative Specs & Deliverables:
- vector file (to be used for a 33 1/4"" wide, 81 1/2 tall pull-up banner)
- Firefox OS primary visual
- FFX for Android and Marketplace should have secondary placement
- might be able to use a similar layout to the previous request that used the full color fox saved a space for the partner logos, and just use the Android and Marketplace logos in place of the partner logos? (see http://bit.ly/1bvOces for the original idea)

Hi Robyn. Given that we *just* are finishing a project to create banners for a variety of scenarios that was supposed to eliminate or reduce event-specific asks, can we use that artwork instead? These banner requests are starting to take up quite a bit of bandwidth, and we need to conserve.

As long as they are the full color fox version. The majority of the other requests were for the developer style designs, but there was one full color fox request for partner events, where we reserve a space for the partner logo. That would be fine as long as we had the FFX for Android and Marketplace logos instead of a partner logo.

Sorry about the slow reply here. How about using the existing banner created for partners minus the partner info? That way we'd have a strong FxOS banner at the conference and wouldn't have to spin additional cycles creating something new.

That works for me. Do you have a link to this artwork? Can't recall where it is.

Thanks Jennifer.
Hi Matt - how are we looking on the banner? Thanks!!
Hi Robyn, I am in with works on a banner for this. But I do have a question regarding the replacement logos, ie Ffx for Android and Marketplace. As far as I know, it doesn't appear that there is an official logo that represents Ffx for Android, so not sure how we should go about this.
Here is where I am currently at: http://cl.ly/image/3T0Y1v27141C I envision the logos to fit within the white footer space.

Hi Matt,
I think we might actually leave it as is, just removing the white at the bottom. This is for a couple of reasons. First, I actually didn't realize that we don't have an official Firefox for Android logo. 2nd, I don't think it would sync with the backdrop we've created for the booth (https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=905373) since the other products aren't mentioned there, and 3rd, John mentioned in another conversation that the three together don't really tell a good flowing story if it's broken up like that. Partners' names/logos would be different, but our own products all together might be too disjointed.
How about we just extend the blue to the bottom? We need to get this to the printer anyway, so it would also be a good option regarding timing. What do you think?
Thanks!!
Robyn

Hi Robyn,
I am okay with removing the white footer. I think it looks cleaner without. Here is an example of what it looks like minus the footer, but replaced with the URL 'firefox.com/os'...similar to what we've gone with on other. If this is the final look we want to go with, I can post the print ready file as well.

Hi Matt,
Looks great! If there are no objections from anyone else, I'd like to run with this version.
Jennifer - would Staples be our banner producer for this?
Thanks!
Robyn

For producing the banners it's totally up to you. You can work with Staples or if there's another vendor you prefer, you can also work with them.
Let me know if you want me to send the initial email to Staples to get started.
Cheers,
Jennifer
