User Agent : Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:23.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/23.0
Build Id: 20130711122148

I was just using Firefox at home. I opened one pdf in it. When I tried to search one word. It gave me result with highlighted, but page didn't change. I scrolled up and down to find that highlighted word. Finally, I used chrome to complete my work.

Steps to reproduce:
1.Install and open Firefox.
2.open any pdf in browser and search word in it.

Expected result:
I should see page that contain the word and it should be highlighted.

Actual result:
I didn't see page that contain that particular word.I scrolled up and down to find that highlighted word.
It didn't work properly like Google chrome.

WFM with FF22 or FF25. Is it reproducible with any PDF? If not, post PDF sample.

In addition, try with a clean profile:

Tested on the same build as above with clean profile. Didn't work for me.

I used http://www.us-cert.gov/sites/default/files/publications/CloudComputingHuthCebula.pdf
pdf and tried to search "security" word.

We're dropping PDF.js support on metro as per bug 891594.

This WFM on latest Firefox with the test case in comment 2. I guess we fixed it along the way somewhere :-)
