User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1) AppleWebKit/537.4 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/22.0.1229.96 Safari/537.4

Steps to reproduce:

Installed my addon "Fast Dial", which sets "browser.newtab.url" property to "chrome://fastdial/content/fastdial.html". Then opened a new tab several times.

Actual results:

Several newly opened pages contain Fast Dial page, several contained "about:newtab" page.

Expected results:

Fast Dial pages should be open.
Same issue with Firefox 22?

It could be an add-on issue.

No, only Aurora and Nightly. Setting "browser.newtab.preload" to "false" fixes the issue, but page loads a bit slower.

I've just checked Aurora and it's working fine, maybe it's fixed already.
No, Aurora too has it. I press "+" new tab sign 4 times - 3 times Fast Dial opens and on 4th - "about:newtab".
If I set "browser.newtab.url" to "http://google.com" opening newtab works correctly, maybe the difference is in that Fast Dial page opens faster.
Looks like I've tracked down the problem: the addon sets "browser.newtab.url" as its default properties. If I remove default property and set "browser.newtab.url" manually in "about:config" everything works fine.
Ok, add-on trick. Maybe contact the add-on author if you think this behavior not very user-friendly.
