User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:22.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/22.0 (Beta/Release)
Build ID: 20130618035212
Steps to reproduce:
Enter Mozilla Addons (either through the website or through the plugins menu in Firefox).
Search for an option to filter the addons or plugins by their license.
Actual results:
No option to filter by license can be found, except by manually checking every addon to be installed beforehand.
Expected results:
AMO should offer the option to filter applications by their license. This is an indispensable requirement for several GNU/Linux-libre distributions, such as Trisquel or Parabola, to accept the usage of AMO with their Mozilla-based browsers, since their community guidelines demand that addon repositories cannot recommend non-free software of any sort. Also, it can help the users of normal Firefox to avoid addons with licenses that they do not want, either because of ethical reasons, licensing issues, or security concerns.
