This is working for me on Firefox 23. Steps:

1. Click contribute
2. click make contribution
3. Box turns in to paypal box, which has options to log in, sign up, or buy as guest.
Victor, can you try to reproduce?
I can reproduce this bug using Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:25.0) Gecko/20130715 Firefox/25.0
This happens on the current env too.

Summary: Paypal fails to load in the new AMO prod env → Paypal fails to load in AMO prod on Nightly (25.0a1)
Ah ha, take a look at this bug: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=823126

By default, Firefox (23 or 24)? and up does not allow third party cookies to be set unless you have already visited that site. (In this case, paypal.com).

So all you need to do is go to paypal.com first, and then you can donate to addons on AMO.
I'm seeing this too and the workaround from comment 5 works for me. Is there anyway to detect this and provide a message? Simply dimming the screen indefinitely is not a great user experience and most users will probably just give up donating.
Thanks for filing this. Due to resource constraints we are closing bugs which we won't realistically be able to fix. If you have a patch that applies to this bug please reopen.
