89450 - autocomplete truncates left part of URLs

When using the url entry field in a main browser window, Mozilla will attempt to
do completion on the url.  It will pop down a list of all matching completions,
however this list is truncated in width to the width of the entry field itself.
 This is a problem because it truncates the left side of the url, where the most
significant "bits" are.  While I understand that the type in field must be
truncated due to screen realestate, the pop down menu should show the complete
url.  This is especially annoying because clicking on the down button shows the
complete urls, although they are not the same urls as the completion is done with.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Hit ctrl-L
2. start typing a url that matches completion
3. watch the pop down menu contain truncated urls

Not much we can do about this, save for a major re-design of the navigation
toolbar, which isn't likely to happen
